Sounds like you are kind of busy too, so I won't keep you.

I know what you mean about being stuck in limbo/both right now.  I had that feeling back when I lived at home and went to college and came back home on the weekends for work.

Mm. It's weird. I guess I like being home, but I barely get to relax. And I'm not really looking forward to college. A bunch of stupid highschool drama going on and I honestly don't want to deal with it.

Yeah.  I know. :-\  For me, at college you had the freedom to do what you wanted, but it sounds like you also have to deal with stupidity there too, but you probably still like the freedom.  Conflicting.

Then you got home, where you have to be a certain way, do a certain thing, can't sleep in till 1pm. You know, all that stuff.  Family expectations.

Wow, had to get in that double post eh?

Idk, it's just the same crap from the summer with that one guy but with a different guy. Except this one is so much more needy and whiny. And it gets on my nerves. He's a good friend, but he wants more and I don't feel the same way. I have a SO, and he knows that, but he keeps pursuing this dream of his he can't attain and he constantly cries about it to me. When it's about me. It's just awkward and I don't want to deal with it.

As a guy... if he keeps going at you about the subject and keeps pressuring you and making you feel uncomfy.... you already tried being nice.... but you just might have to hurt his feelings a bit and tell him again, like it is, be all stern about it.

What makes it tough, is you maybe want to remain friends and not lose that fun connection, and I can't promise that wouldn't be harmed.

He's a good friend, and I don't want to stop being friends, he's just ugh. He's such a woman. He's so sensitive and... Weenie. I want to tell him straight up, "knock it off" you know? Tell him to stop hugging me so much and holding me like we're a couple or something. Because, where his hands are going are reserved for my SO. But I just feel so bad. Because I know I'll utterly destroy him.

Don't feel bad.  He needs to know his place.  You aren't, "his."  You can't go up to a friend and hug at will, touch at will, etc.

You might just have to tell them.  It is very hard, I have been in this sitch, though it was with a girl.  I can't sugarcoat and tell you it will be easy.

You know this person better then anyone, and if you think it will shatter their world, then that is sadly going to be a reality. But sometimes life needs reality checks.
