So your Mom got a nice garden?

Yeah, Dad made a raised bed garden and it's very big for all the veggies that will grow in the summer and fall.  They have a good amount of land to do what they want with.  Plus some flowery garden stuff around the property and house.

Bet your Dad has a tractor of some sort?

Riding lawn mower, if that counts.

That totally counts.  Handy man like him loves to have his toys.

Sounds like they live out in nature a bit.  I bet it's peaceful and serene.

It is.  It gets quiet and dark there at night.  They are not too far from civilization, maybe only ten minutes or so... but it feels like a world away.

That's awesome.  Glad you appreciate that too.  Too many kids have grown up in the city and don't realize the countryside is beautiful.  Life without a Starbucks.

I always love going.  And they have good internet too.   I'm just chilling in my old room hunkered in the bed with my light on.  I am sure they are up still... maybe not.

I can picture that.  I love sleeping someplace else sometimes, especially when it is the country and quiet and dark.    Reminds me of my uncle and aunt's place.
