I will try to go back and rate all the episodes I didn't rate also.  I see a lot of people have been doing that already, which is great to see the community coming together for this. :D  Will be fun to see what we collectively think of the past two seasons.

I agree, it was the best season of all in my mind.  Yes some early seasons were good, but this was definitely the best. Most enjoyable, content heavy, and lots of development.

It was a great season.  I am not sure if I am just super excited since it is the most recent and the one I most remember, but I remember there were earlier seasons that were really good too.  But I would definitely give this season a 9 overall.  It beat almost all expectations!

Season 8 is also all but confirmed.  Show creators are working on it, but we have no official announcement from then network.

While this is the best referer we have as to which season people like best, I do feel that maybe the newest season is still a bit TOO fresh on people's mind and a lot of newbies too.

But none the less, Equestria Daily held a poll to see which season fans thought was the best of MLP:FiM.  The results overwhelming said season 7 with season 3 being the worst.

S3 is is correctly placed.

But S1 forever, man.  Flawed to pieces, but better overall.  Like, I dunno, Mass Effect 1 vs ME2 & ME3.

I have chosen this hill, and dammit, I shall die defending it!

(Full disclosure: I've not yet got around to watching S7; the sentiment of this poll and this thread seems to suggest that maybe I should do so sooner rather than later...)

Season 7 is the best season.  Hand down, no question.  But I do feel this poll has season 1 too far down.  3 was a turd season, and I don't remember  much else, it becomes a blur.
