This could be a huge event in this comic. It really came one no one was expecting it.  The past month have been pretty happy comics.  So, this was an eye opener, reminding us that this comic is life.  Ups and downs.  It is what I really like about this series.

I think he will be maimed to some degree.

Well... They did warn us. Remember the store pony? In the description on Tumblr it said a sucker punch comic was coming tomorrow. But yeah, life has ups and downs. And while someone's life is going well and happily, someone else's could be coming crashing down.

And hm, possibly. We'll unfortunately have to wait and see.

Although it sucks that it's happening to Sweetie Belle, this comic is pretty much all about life and life's got it's good and tragic moments.

That being said I HOPE the officer doesn't die, although it is something that I personally wouldn't be TOO surprised (I still prob will be to an extent) to see, as bad as that sounds.

I'm not on the band wagon of him dying.  I don't think he will, and I don't think there is any chance of it.  I think he just got hurt.

Although it could be a turning point in his relationship with Rarity. I mean, 'til now it's been sort of casual between them, though he's gotten close to Sweetie.  Suppose his brush with death prompts him to do something audacious like propose, and this really puts her on the spot?

I don't think there is a rleationship with him and Rarity.  Rarity is the only one who ever makes the moves, and we've seen the cop in background shots hang out with another female pone cop (she might be a partner on the force). 

But interesting idea.  If this made Rarity change as a pone too.

Ah wow, he's busted up a bit, but glad to see he's okay. Sweetie looks so crushed and kinda out of it as they wait for a while. But it's so heartwarming to see the relief in her face when she sees he's okay. (Nice to see Star Dusk there). And is it me, or does it look like Rarity has a pile of rope behind her, or is it her hair?

Also... The back cover on Rarity's 'Fabulous Fashion Fancy'. "Don't just [cant read it] beauty. PHORNIKATE [can't read it].
