Here are my pictures for the October trucking event this month!  @Smiles2us

Two massive pieces of metal hauling heavy loads!  What's not to love? :D

Dude, those are awesome!  I'm imagining the horsepower and the rumbling of the earth beneath my feet as these mighty beasts of the wild west role by!!! So cool!

I like this paint scheme.  I have also never seen the red circle lights like that on the cisterns/tanks before in the game.

Well, all the additional lights or flickers are added when the trailer is redrawn for releasing it as a buyable one.
I love when the trailer type is recognizable from the far distannce by the glowing strip, especially ETS one.
is for tank, is for dryvan, [  ] is for low bed and so on.

I also found that the Iveco dealership in Zaragoza, Spain has a fence you can completely drive through.  It has no hit detection.  I wonder if this is possible at all Iveco dealerships?

@Smiles2us

My turn! I may have broken the law to get some photos here, lol. Train time... or light rail tram.

Nice seeing the photos everyone!  Nice pics there @Captain Ridiculous.  Those really are the workhorses of the west!  I like how you have an older more traditional truck too.

Hey, cool, Soda!  Welcome to the event.  I see you have an Iveco too! Old skool choice.  I see you did some landscaping on that grassy field for that photo!  Also good shot with the church steeple, tram, and the truck.

If they use the same prefab, it’s probably so ;D.
But... It’s better than invisible hard wall .

No shit!  I will have to test this out.  I find glitches and mistakes in ETS2 all the time and this would just be another.  It's funny because no one would purposely drive into a fence and here we my have a drive-thru fence all across Europe.

It is exceedingly likely the ETS open beta will be live sometime Oct 6th, on a Thursday.

As for the ATS open BETA, I think the company viewer is low-key one of the greatest things they've added here, followed closely with the driveshaft for realism.  This could be a stepping stone for a improved/new physics system for the game going forward.  Baby steps.

ETS2 1.46 Open Beta Releases
You were quick today ;D.
Essentially the exact same update with just a few differences.
And, honestly, it’s a little weaker. ATS had one chemical tank looking just like a food tank (but with ADR signs) plus one more specialized chemical tank, while ETS had only the first type of tank. Also, the small part of US-20 was much bigger than Arganda. Although, I like the trees inside one of the roundabouts near freshly opened base.

But... I found a pretty big difference at another base near Madrid ;D.

After returning to 1.45 I looked at this building, and the missing part have returned back.

Lol!  You're grasping at straws here.  It's so minimal.   ;D

Well, patch 1.42, released a year ago, was very small as well ;D.
Also, it’s not the developers’ fault that the chemical trailer looks very like food one, so if you are not making the licensed product, you can use one model with minimum changes.
If look on Kässbohrer site, you may see that their food and chemical tanks are very similar, and the biggest difference is the number of manholes on the top side — food one has three, chemical one has five, and ETS version of the same length has four for both trailers ;D.
