I mean, the ultimate goal would be to have seasons with more varied weather to make things a challenge.  I doubt we will ever get to that point, but it would be awesome.

Also, I have heard that the latest beta version of 1.46 has one more little update for photo mode, and... today we have another stream, this time with Texas DLC gameplay! I hope the video will be uploaded to their YT channel very soon... unlike that two-weeks old anniversary stream, which is still not there (accidentally deleted?  :-0 ;D).

So, today they made three rides between Lufkin-Houston-Galveston, Van Horn-Ft Stockton-Del Rio and Dallas-Abilene.

Well look here, it's Austin!!!!

There are also a lot of new updates coming to the photo mode and gallery system.  They are adding whole new meaning to visiting viewpoints  and landmarks too.  It's pretty awesome. It is explained visually here so much better than I can explain it.

I'm gonna complain about the Austin blog post just because.... They didn't do the skyline all that good honestly.  Pretty flat and bare with some questionable building design attempts.   Sadly the skyline views from that freeway are pretty CRAPPY because it is one of the worst views of the skyline. Some of the best views are on the Congress Avenue Bridge, which I doubt will be in the game.

The skyline views from the main freeway are so depressing bad.  The city's design was meant to be viewed from the river and from the freeway is SUCKS. Oh look, in the second pic, there is a ATS Ai vehicle!!!

I liked the blog post and am curious about the photo features.  I wish they had more weather choices in photo mode.  The sunset options are too few, lol!

Also yeah, Austin's skyline isn't too great from the angles shown.  It looks like SCS took some creative liberty to make sure WE saw the Texas Capitol dome even if it can't be seen from the same spoT (I think).

Nice start, @Wolfwood.  I tried to find them a bit more accurately.  I just realized they are actually allowing us to drive into the "BAD PART" or Austin.  Granted, it's not THAT bad, because overall the city is pretty new, but it's the less desirable part, and you might see homelessness.  It is opposite of downtown, with the freeway bridge sort of being the dividing line shown below.  Real and in-game angles.

So this first image above, we are actually in the "bad" part of Austin looking towards the downtown area.  I'm not quite sure what delivery they would have us do here unless it's a road to access downtown.  This part of the city is being redeveloped so there are a lot of empty lots and in their place they are building urban condos and apartments, mixed developments of housing and commercial.  So it won't be the "bad" part of town for long when they further displace people for new development.  I am curious how they will represent it in the game.  They already make it look better than it is.

This second set of images above, the game removed two full bridges.  There are actually five bridges in this space, two heading in each direction and a foot bridge.  it appears the game only has the freeway bridges and the footpath, and not the smaller road bridges.  Actaully they did include all the bridges and they might all be drivable! If we can access this side road which they are showing, it would lead to the intersection in the first set of images. The city skyline is also compacted.

It appears they may have boosted the Texas Capitol Building so we would see it and removed the brown arena building. This one might not be exact, but I tried to find it.

It’s even closer than I was expecting! And look at this HUGE road network!

The number of settlements are smaller than in Spain, but I love how much secondary roads this state has!

I'm predicting a release in the last two weeks of November.  The 17th-18th.

So close, but they surprised us all and decided to release it on a TUESDAY!  ^b-  If they would have released on their usual Thursday, you would have been correct.

This excited me probably the most.  I am not kidding!  To have such variety to go places, instead of just taking freeways is wonderful.  I fear going onward to smaller and smaller states, these will become less and less frequent.  Makes me want them to go back and add many more to older states. ;D

Well that was fast... They revealed the new DLC.  Graffiti paint jobs.

ETS2: Street Art DLC

This is one of the rare DLCs I will not be purchasing.  When it goes on sale to 50 cents someday, maybe.
