So, let’s try some new trailers!

That attention to details makes me laugh ;D. Some of the tuning options in the Feldbinder DLC, like the hose holders or rear bumpers come in two totally identical forms with a single difference — bigger FFB logo or smaller FFB logo. Looks like the developers were arguing what exactly logo is better, but eventually they decided to give the choice to us.

Also, I like how they have even added FFB branded wheel nuts ;D. I remember a lot of truck-branded wheel covers, but the nuts are something new.

One thing is still makes me wonder — why we can just paint the ATS tank trailers in solid color just like their ETS counterparts? Even the company trailers from ATS have either a small logo on the chromed surface or some painted elements, but the major part of trailer body remains chromed. Does American sun warms the trailer stronger than European one and the chromed surface helps to keep the flammable liquid cooler? On the other hand, the shiny trailer can distract the other drivers’ eyes 8).

Thanks for the 'review' Tim.

As nice as this new DLC is, I am going to have to wait on it.  I already spent enough on the Texas DLC and Christmas gifts, lol.  I can be patient, but it looks good! I always like more customizable pieces, even if no one looks at my lug nuts.

It does seem weird we can't fully color tanks in ATS, especially since there are no real trailer companies and you would think we'd have more freedom that way, lol. I don't know.  I mean, yes, much of America is warmer than much of mainland Europe... but I can't imagine a colored tank to a chrome one makes THAT big of a difference. I see fully colored tank trunks in real life.  It's not uncommon. White I see the most, but there are lots of colors.

Wait a second... so if the WoT Texas event lasts till January... is there NO Christmas WoT event this year?  Will they overlap?

Well, maybe...
Judging from their blog post archive (I don’t personally remember anything related to these events :-[), the Cruising Colorado event has been prolonged «until well after Christmas» (without a precise date), so, these words may mean that event and Christmas 2020 event could really overlap ;D.

I hope they overlap.  The Christmas events are one of my favorites.  I love seeing how many deliveries each city has.  I like to try and do deliveries from cities that have next to no one delivering to or from them.  I like seeing me be the only person to move their numbers up, lol!

I am pretty certain they will overlap.  I can't see SCS not doing their Christmas WoT event.  It is the highlight of the year and it lasts into the next year.

The activity in their blog post became a bit lower, and, there is no sign than patch 1.47 will appear till the end of this year, even as a beta.
So, do any of you expect the MAN TGX in December? ;D

Originally they said pretty much confirmed it.  I am thinking it will still come out unless they used that trailer DLC as a replacement for now.

Also, another old trend continues!
Long time they didn’t show us the small videos in their Twitter ;D.
I love how spacey and green the new reworked streets are, also, this city promises to grow, maybe even like Hannover.

Some of the things I most look forward to are their reworks.

The first image above really is my favorite because of the homes on the hillside.  We are entering the home city of Mercedes-Benz... I wonder if we will get any new Actros at all? I also like the second image.

Decided to look around Stuttgart and I found some key interests and some random things.  Also I noticed a TON of German's have their homes or businesses blurred out.  It was hard finding clear photos without this. :P

This intersection near the downtown looks very interesting with the included tram rails and the various markings.  It's possible it is in-game because it is a main motorway.

Here is one of the buildings we saw in the blog post but in real life.

This is in the newer commercial centre of the city and it looks... kinda drab.  I doubt we will go here, but what struck me is that tunnel that went under the building. It doesn't look like it would fit a truck and the roads are very very tight.

Unlike the more wide open motorways outside the city, inside the city things do tighten up to mostly 2x2 lanes.  Portions of the city has underground tunnels, so we might not even see that much.

This is right next to the Mercedes-Benz factory.  They have this massive rail yard, but what shocked me was how most of it was overgrown.  They only appear to be using five rail lines.  I'm surprised how they let this be overgrown right in the center of the city.  It really divides the city as well with very few cross-access points.

It is possible we will have deliveries to the Stuttgart Riverport!  It is a very active port and from the one of the main roads into the port, you can see there is barge, grain, and garbage waste terminals.

It looks pretty varied and it's much different then I was expecting for the city!  It's more shabby then I expected, lol.  I think the riverport and the Benx factory would be cool, but who knows if Benz would allow their plant be i the game with other cars.
