In the OK Stream, there was a TON of info we have not been talking about.  Pavel said a lot of stuff is coming, especially for ATS. He said there is more content coming for the rest of this year and the start of next year than they've ever had. He also said they are closer to possibly other vehicles to drive in the future for both games.  More than just trucks.

^ Whaaat?  Really?  That is interesting.

Also what ever happened to the Switzerland and California reworks?  I am sure that is part of the new stuff coming.

I've been playing a ton of ATS, especially the OK DLC.  It's okay, lol! OKC, it's definately much more linear than I'd like, especially when compared to Tulsa which really is the crown jewel of the DLC. I still do think US-160 is needed, especially for density sake. The DLC to a degree suffers the Idaho/Utah effect of just sort of running through cities without much depth to them.  They also are states that rely on other states around them to really open up and have more roads be added to them.

Edit: Different vehicle types added to the games?  I think buses come to mind pretty quickly.  Would a personal vehicle be pointless?  Or a good thing, such as driving your personal car to drive to a dealership, or a different garage you own?  I don't know... a personal car would be kinda pointless for this game unless it's just to explore.  In that case, we'd kinda want more roads to explore then that aren't limited to what trucks can go on and see/do.

Don’t know about buses, but the rigid trucks (the complainers have already stopped to remind SCS about their old post ;D) can find their fans due to being easier to drive.

Of course, it’s not a good choice for hardcore double trailer users. ;D

Found a vid that highlights the other vehicles in a short format.  Thanks again AP101 Gaming.  Worth a watch.

^ Oooh, that's interesting stuff.  I never finished watching the whole OK stream.  I wanted to watch it when Pavel got there, but i was still listening to everyone else before him.  Lol! I am sure AP101 will release more tidbits from the stream so they have more content to post. ;D  I'm patient, I can wait.

That's the easy way to get nuggets of info well behind what we already have to watch.  ;)

That was an interesting video.  Long term info, but still fun to speculate.

SCS put out a video on August 25th of their partnership with PACCAR.  Pretty good and of course we can gleam at the future trucks coming to our beloved game series.  They head back to Washington State to the PACCAR HQ with a lot of new footage and best of all, new trucks!

Looks nice.

But now for some various bits of info from SCS employees about future DLC.

So SCS is working on Greece already.  Early stages of a Northern Scandanavia DLC, and most damning of all, Russia DLC is not likely to release anytime soon.  The multiple people seem to all agree, it's dead for now.

Welp.  No Russia for a long time.

Excited about Scandinavia moving further north.  That is something I know many have promoted here for a long time.  It is unfortunate they still have not mentioned a rebuilding of the UK or Ireland.

They've been avoiding it for some reason.

I have ETS, ETS2, and ATS in my Steam library but I have never played them.  I see the community here is HUGE.  Which should I play first, does it matter?  Do you guys have a preference?
