So, the current skyboxes may become obsolete, again ;D. Under the video of one reposter channels I already see the comments like «we had the moon/lightning in 1998-2001 games already, pfffft»... Yes, we had. In one sprite, 64×64 pixels ;D.

Another game-changing update... which may be useless for a big portion of gamers, just like official multiplayer ;D. Anyway, different types of damage and repair brings more realism to the game.

The weather and night sky update is huge to me. The game lacked SO much extra weather and skyboxes.  So this is very nice!  But with volumetric lighting, that will also be another taxing hit on people's PC's.  This game is slowly going to require more than a potato to run it.

Also hidden in that blog post is the new damage model for the game!  Permanent wear is now a real thing that accumulates on our trucks over time!! Going to be a big change.

The used truck dealer is a nice option, especially for new players who want to get a truck quicker and drive on their own!!  Great idea.  Reminds me of the fun I used to have searching through the Used Car Dealership in Gran Turismo games. :D

We also have the Kansas DLC coming out this year, which me and a few others (Captain Fab) have been saying for awhile now.  Going to be a busy end to 2023.

Phew...

That... was a big adventure. Definitely the best DLC for ETS in terms of scenery. The most curvy roads require from you to drive them in both directions — only in that case you will see all the details.

I also believe there are chances to see reworked Switzerland soon ;D.

:0  WOW.  How.... how did you do that so fast?

I will say, I haven't seen as much as you, but this is my fav ETS2 DLC thus far.  Better than Spain.

[spoiler]It is soon, but from what I've seen, they are further behind on it then we are led to believe.  I think it will be 2024 for that.  Maybe early 2024.

Time for a drive tough Croatia!! Start early in the morning, grab our load, and head out!

We start out and the highways are empty early in the morning.

I thought this was a neat shot.

We escape the cityscapes as the early morning becomes mid-morning.

We begin a journey through the mountains towards the coast and cross through tons of tunnels in the process.

Artistic shot I guess. ;D

The quality of the of the highways in Croatia surprised me.  I didn't think they would be this high or quality and well maintained.  It was a lovely experience, especially through the mountains.

The lack of civilizations through the country did shock me though.  There is pretty much one main road, cities in the north and cities in the south.  I was surprised how much of the country didn't have anything both visually and in-game.  Very few cities.  But I did love the open countryside, it's very neat.

As we get closer to our next city, traffic begins to increase!

Stay tuned for part two of our journey through Croatia!

Well, 21 delivery (13500 km and 19900 XP) to yellow the WB map to that level — it’s not super fast if compare with Oklahoma, where I needed only four deliveries do discover all cities and thirteen more to open the most of roads. Also, it could be even faster if I didn’t put some time in making and publishing screenshots (I have posted 107 of them in this topic ;D). I believe there are people who dominated this DLC map even faster.
