So, the
DAF XF’s little brother is released! In this generation, the naming convention was changed (instead of
XF,
CF and
LF there are X
F, X
D and X
B), and the cabin has the same width as in full-size model, the difference is the height — to compensate this, of course, there are low and high spoilers.

I don’t really like its price — not only the daycab (first one in
ETS, by the way) hasn’t the cheapest interior option which is present for the sleeper cab, but the basic cost of this model is higher than
XF. I don’t believe it is true for real life trucks

Also, if you have the daycab, the sideskirts are not available. With the bigger cabs, you can buy them, although there are no
«aluminium shovel» option like
XF/XG has

. As for the biggest advantage of the new truck — its blind spots are noticeably smaller than full-size models have. The daycab has the optional rear window, so yo can look at your trailer just like in
ATS.
So, I took the 300-hp engine and go to test it with the appropriate cargo. Wish me luck
