I'm not giving you negatives Blurr.  If there is anyone who believes in dreams, it's me, believe me.

But you need to have multiple plans in preparation in case one idea doesn't work.  You need to be ahead of everyone else, so if something doesn't work, you immediately have the next plan in place.  You have to be one step ahead of life. :)

Yeah, but people don't know that. When you talk about it you make it seem like it think it'll be easy. Hence why people pile on the negatives. Because guess what, there's a ton of them. And like 1 positive. That being if you miraculously get noticed, and if you get your chance. Both incredibly minuscule.

You want us to sugarcoat positives for you?

I guess we may have jumped in too fast... so what do you plan to showcase?  A show idea?  Any networks?  Budgeting, storylines?  :)

As I said, my dream didn't come true (yet) and honestly, I am happier it didn't happen.  I love talking one on one with people about future projects.  It is so much more rewarding and better then my original dream could have ever been.  I have my new priority dream in place and to continue to expand.  It's been wonderful. :)

Yes, multiple plans for the future. :)  I like your story Captain Fantastic.  What you thought you wanted, wasn't as good as what you got, that is awesome.

I would have to agree to that for me too.  I love drawing what I do for people here, and it is very rewarding.

It's not good to sugarcoat. And honestly, with our negatives, we were sugar coating them too.

Sure it's good to have dreams, as long as you don't believe in them too hard. That was actually good parenting from that movie. Especially if it seems impossible. Have tons of backups. And yeah. It's a rough path.

How exactly do you even plan to start to get a foot in the door?

I know it isn't I fricking know alright? I just worked 13 hours for a thankless job that can replace me like I never even existed at all. So could you please, just for one minute of your time, just humor me?

It's the hard knock life Blurr. I know it's hard, and I've heard you talk about how grueling it is. It's terrible. And the knowledge they can just easily replace you is also rough. It sucks. I know. But unfortunately for our country to run we need people like you to work those hours. We need every worker that works to keep our system running. Otherwise, it could collapse. Workers like you do a lot to keep it running. One of the many cogs in the big machine.

Alright. If that's what you want. I'll bite.

So Blurr, when you get to LA, where are you going to go to pitch your idea.

So CR, this friend who went to school for film... what exactly do they do?

They went to film school, learned everything they needed.

So they got some local music video gigs.  They helped film on the show with Gordon Ramsey when he goes around yelling at bad restaurant chefs, and he has done some other small projects.  He tried to get hired with several movies looking for local people to working rigging and cameras, and even though he has a good resume and top honors from the school, most films and tv shows still say no.  They end up then just bringing people from Hollywood with them.  So they then moved to LA for awhile to try and get noticed (they also moved to New Zealand for a bit to try and get work on the Lord of the Rings), but LA turned out to be a bust.  They went to several studios and never even got a passing glance.  So, they picked themselves up and moved back and is now trying to get work in Vancouver, which is far more promising.  It is a smaller pool of people to pick from.  Almost every other show is filmed in Vancouver, and they have heard at least more feedback.

They now have a serious job to pay for their dream, they just bought some fancy camera equipment and a very high tech drone the Hollywood pro's use.  They are working to make a short film, and I am their location scout and give them the locations to choose and where to go.  So his hope is by mid to late 2017, he will have his first short film he directed and wrote on his resume to really help him out.  But he realized to follow his dream, he had to deviate and get a other job.  He's seen failure many times, but he keeps trying because the drive is so real in him.

Hey Blurr. :) I'm asking you, what do you plan to showcase?  I'm asking because I want to hear your idea.

That is pretty awesome.  They just keep trying and keep moving along.  Sounds like quite a journey and major props to them and good luck for the short film!  Very cool you are working on it too. :)

I would recommend Vancouver over Hollywood to anyone who is trying.
