(applauses)
Yay, culture shock! Roundabouts! Toll gates! Border control! Truck accessory prices! ;D

I wish they would just offer a massive pack with tons of re-colorable paint schemes.
Well, there are some schemes in basic part of game which I wish to be fully recolourable as well ;D. For example, the Pinstripe paintjob for 389 would be even better if the color of those stripes will not be only yellow, which is suitable only for dark metallics.

Preaching to the choir.  I agree. ;D

A lot of the old graphics are pretty... pixelated looking.

Oh, just look at these beautiful trees in Hard Truck 2:

(with a little mod, that game can support Ultrawide ;D)
Well, for 2001 it was pretty good picture, better than in the first 18WoS game.
So, now we can make «pathetic soulless parody vs true unique original»-like comparisons:

It was actually a wise decision — if you can’t make a working door mirror, just remove it completely, especially if it’s not visible in the original 4:3 aspect ratio ;D.

UPD: So, how about more realistic graphics?
And, what is more important, they mentioned the number 1.43, which means that new beta version will probably come in a month or so ;D. Also, the renewed dump trailer has been spotted.

I don't think the graphics look bad in hard Truck... but then again, I am not someone who is super anal about graphics. ;D  I think graphics in most games sort of peaked around 2008-2010.

Hard Truck doesn't look too bad.  But I am sure it repeats a ton of assets.  We are at the point now with SCS that everything is being hand modeled, more so in ATS.  There is still a lot of repeat in ETS2's newest maps which kind of surprises me.  Such as repeat gas station models, repeat rest areas, repeat buildings in cities.

ATS seems to have all unique rest stops and much more variation in gas stations.  Even if the building is the same, they always model the location itself different in the last several DLCs.  Even  delivery locations are becoming very varied, more so than ETS2.  Cities and towns are all completely unique in ATS, many unique building assets.

The little viewpoints are nice, but I feel they should do something more with them.  Like maybe have some information of what we are looking at.  A name of the place, or some history, or something.  Right now it seems kinda... I don't know... half baked?

I guess it could be seen as a break from driving, just peace and the sounds of nature.

You are not wrong.  That localization still isn't there with ETS2.  They are getting better though.

Uhm... not all of them are in perfect condition :-\. But, at least, we know that there will be new river ferries! @Silverwing , did you try the Romanian ferry or it still is undiscovered? ;D

Marsh, swamp , rivers, muddy rivers, etc.  I like variation!

I have no idea what rivers are supposed to look like, but having randomly dropped myself along a few rivers in Google Maps Streetview, the rivers in the game look exceptionally clean.

Nice try.  I don't think that is it because of the bridge height as you mentioned.  But the bunch grasses and mud are very similar.  If you look around other Russian rivers, a lot seem to look like this if they are slow moving.

Har.  Those rivers are way too clean and the roads are too perfect.
