So I was looking at the map.  On US-101 between Astoria and Aberdeen is where I saw the deer!  It was in Washington.

^b-  Thanks.  I will have to try that out.  I will drive the route a million times until I see the deer. ;D  That means there might be more places on the map that have deer.  Wonder if anything like that in ETS2?  Does anyone know of any weird events like this in ETS2?  I can't think of any.

^ There are no events similar to that I know of in ETS2.  It seems to be an ATS dev team thing.  There is also a sideways tree in Washington because one of the people working with them told them about this sideways tree in real life, and the devs did it.  lol.  I will see if I can find it.

Does this artist have a place to see more?  I like the more traditional clothing in the older one too.

There was her site, but I can’t find it now. Try to search by the name Lullindo.

Hmm, I wonder if they can make the inclined towers at Hoover Dam? If you remember Fallout:New Vegas, that game does have them ;D.

Let me help you with that.  It is in Washington State as well.

The helper insisted to SCS that this tree has been crooked ever since they were a kid and they remembered it always being crooked when they drove on this road.  So SCS did it. ;D  Just one of the many obscure and unknown easter eggs between developers and insider researchers.  [excited]

Thanks, I found it.  They have a Twitter and Instagram, but seem to not be active anymore. :(

I'm going to have to look for that tree now.  So that is the road that goes past Mount Rainier and to Yakima, right?

I would love them to someday go further east and north in Russia, just as I wish they would go further north for Finland, Norway, and Sweden.  Would love to see more rural areas, something we sometimes don't feel when playing ETS2.  It is so densely populated through much of the map.

I have spent a lot of time trying to find the locations in the Ryazan blog post on Google Street view but I can not find them.  I have spent over an hour searching for these two spots especially.

One would think that second pic would be easy since it is a motorway of course lanes... but all the four lane motorways in real life seem to dissolve into city streets. None continue through the city as shown in the photo.

They exist.  I found some.  But I agree, the roadways around Ryazan are pretty broken up.  They have four lane highways than then become local roads.  No easy access around or through the city.  The driver is forced into the city no matter what.  But I was able to find a few locations.  :)

This bridge is in the northwest area of the city. You can see the matching buildings too. Thankfully we don't get the real life traffic.

Next we have that view you were searching for.  It is a road that is coming from the north (probably in game a connection to Moscow) but in the photo, we are viewing south into a newer section of the city that is isolated from the historic downtown center.  The four lane motorway breaks down shortly from this photo and becomes a main avenue in the city that breaks down further into double lane roads through neighbors.  It doesn't easily go through the city for motorists. ETS2 designers also gave the motorway more safety features than are shown in Google Earth including a center divider.

Lol. I think the Russian DLC may become a travel to another planet for some players — almost every post-Soviet city has plenty of examples where the motorway turns into street (and no way around!). It was fine when the traffic was low, but now it’s a disaster. And nobody wants to make new roads — they usually keep widening the existing ones, which comes to situations where you have a four-lane street with a two-lane bridge ahead.

Thankfully, the biggest cities have started to make tunnels and real motorways (like the Western Diameter in S-Pb — you can drive on it in the 2018 ETS expansion) to divert the traffic from the center.

It would seem in a lot of the street view things I've seen, is that in parts of Russia, as in Poland, they are still developing infrastructure to a 'modern' standard.  Some of the biggest cities have it, but not a lot of smaller cities.  The ring road around Saint Petersburg as Tim mentioned is an example.  We will see some in Moscow too.

Good photo finds @MasterXtreme !
