I don't think they really needed to address anything more.  They made an address before.  This just made it very clear and obvious HoR is not coming at all.  Not for a long time.  Possibly never.

Wow.  Didn't expect that. I'm sure the SCS ETS2 forums are a happy place to be in right now.

In some ways, they didn't answer a whole lot.  It came down to this conclusion. "since our DLC, Heart of Russia, directly concerns Russia, and with so many people suffering, we decided to refrain from releasing the DLC so that it is not perceived in any way as being in support of or tolerance of the aggression."

We're still at square one.  We don't know the release date or if there will be one.  They had to add this scary line; "Can we ever release the Heart of Russia DLC?"  AHHH! They didn't answer much and made us question more.

This whole paragraph is very aloof and floaty.  No idea what they even mean by it.

"We strongly believe that there is hope for the proud people of Ukraine to prevail and for the suffering to end for all. Injustice cannot and must not win. And, when the time comes for Ukraine to rebuild and heal, then we will endeavour to find a way for our Heart of Russia DLC to play whatever part it can in that healing process, for everyone."

From that paragraph we can take that Russia may never release if Ukraine doesn't "win?"  Ukraine rebuilding results in a DLC?  I am not really sure what they are trying to say.  I don't think they are even sure.

Don't worry, SCS mods have been deleting page after page of angry pro-Russian comments and other ETS2 players since they revealed the blog post.  They've essentially nuked several pages of comments so that if you look now, it looks like nothing has happened.  The official HoR Discussion thread has been deleted all the way till March 12....

ETS2 side of things is very turbulent among a loud ... minority... maybe?

I think all of us here at PSF accepted HoR isn't coming so we pushed it aside and are just waiting for the next thing to come.  We aren't like the SCS Forums where people are literally losing their shit over this.  Yes it sucks HoR isn't coming, but you know what?  It's a game.  There are many worse things going on that are far more important.

Besides, SCS has plenty of other great content they are working on.  Baltics will be dangerous, because there is at least one country there right now ready to implode.... but hey, it's fine.  They are working on it.  We also just got Renault DLC and reworks done to Austria.

We got Montana, Texas, and trailer DLC coming.  We just had the entirety of Northern California reworked.  We also got suspension lifting and many new icons in the game menus.  Theres plenty to keep a non-spoiled twat busy.
