Truck stops don't really excite me a whole lot. I just realized something. They never post about ETS2 truck stops. The very first image with the "Safety Rest Area" has a new AI car. It's that large blue SUV which appears to be a genericized Mercedes Benz GLS. Image 5, may have a new AI pickup in red. Note new Coastline Mining design on truck trailer. New Gallon Oil trailer in image 14. Our very own member @Miggs is from the location of this rest stop in image 15.

So let's say a third female on PSF was going to buy this game and give it a try? Which should I get? American Truck or Euro Truck 2? I plan on only buying one to try it. Which would you think would be the best base game experience so far? I checked and my computer can play the games.
Our community within a community would welcome you with open arms. We are slowly drawing in more and more users to truck driving. If you don't plan on buying DLC's right away, it depends on which is more interesting for you to drive. Europe or America. The base map of ETS2 is more generic and far less pretty than in ATS. But you will have more area to drive in including England, Scotland, Wales, part of France, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and more. In ATS you will have some old map areas, but some new areas that are more visually appealing. The geography is less varied and the driving area is smaller as you will have California and Nevada. So it really depends on what you like. Both base games are often on sale for $4.99 USD. We overall recommend people to buy map DLCs over other DLCs as if gives you the most content for your money. All new trucks added to the game have been free and the developers continually add new things to the game, including the base parts of the game. If you have any other questions, let us know.

Based on the photos, it doesn't appear we will be driving through downtown Helena, which makes sense, it's a pretty tight, small downtown area. I don't think big trucks could even get through.
I see almost every screnshot in this post has something important on the background, which can be a sign we will not be able to drive closer to these sites . I’m okay with it if there are no room for trucks IRL, the seriousness of the game don’t allow to break from reality and make «theme park version» of locations — imagine Paris when you are driving under the Eiffel Tower, and the accordion is playing on the streets. A lot of stuff we haven't been talking about is the number of new loads and delivery types being added in ATS. They are not in blog posts, but there are several so far for Montana and Texas.
Oh, I forgot to make a review of new cargoes when beta 1.45 came out, and now I’m too lazy to go back to beta . As for cargoes which are present in the game but I have never took them before, there are one named Rails, and if your trailer doesn’t have at least 45' of horizontal surface, the rails themselves will not appear! Here I also agree with authors — no need to make shorter rail prefabs for the game, if they don’t exist IRL.
