I think using that window as a location to buy other DLCs would be smart for SCS too.  I still wonder what happens if you own the base game, then happen to own Colorado DLC.  What happens?  Can you deliver there or not?  Do you teleport?

The search on SCS Forum gave one screenshot from the player who owns Colorado and doesn’t own Utah and NM.

So, if there is no connection with remote state, you just can’t drive there or out of there, and you can take deliveries only within the borders of separated parts. In that map configuration pictured on the screenshot, the only way to get into Colorado is to buy garage on-line (you can’t do this if you don’t own at least three garages ;D) and teleport to that garage. After that, you can make deliveries inside Colorado, and returning to the base map requires another teleporting. Quick Jobs will be available from all explored cities, but again, only inside the separate parts of map.
And... if your starting point is inside of small separate part, it will take a lot of short rides to earn money needed for buying three more garages and finally take a chance to teleport to another state ;D.

Thanks for the research.  That would be annoying to do....

Then I also wonder... who skips state DLCS?

People who likes experiments ;D.
OK, the big factory is much better than tiny Voltison/Demuro bases ;D. Also, nice tow truck on the fourth photo.

Several new roads into Texas have been added to the game from bordering states.... New Mexico.  Plus other stuff...

It looks like a FROG or TOUGH car plant based on all those Ford F-150's... yet the sign out from says AI Automitive.  The confusion in ATS car brand lore deepens.

Nice big car factory and more confusing car makes!  I love it!  ATS at it's finest!

They should call the Ford brand Henry, in honor of Henry Ford.

I'm actually ok with that suggestion.

What are the most remote, out of the way cities/delivery sites in ETS2?

I was thinking of Bergen and Stavanger, Norway. But then I started thinking, I know there are others in more populated areas, especially remote delivery sites.

Among the players who likes scenery and don’t really care about fast-paced driving, I think, Romania can be more popular than among the players who runs mostly on the freeways ;D.
UK, due to its lower detail level (compared to 2019-2021 add-ons) and remoteness may not be a common choice as a destination point ;D.
But then I started thinking, I know there are others in more populated areas, especially remote delivery sites.
Iberia have a lot of bases located in 50-100 km away from city limit, but some cities from earlier DLC’s have them as well — that Rock Eater quarry near Pirdop is as remote as Bellingham’s Deepgrove base, although the road is much smoother and there are some crossings with cute aerial trams:

I like how they made a roof everywhere when some stuff can fall out of these carts — not only the road, but a power line in a couple minutes away from that location is also protected.

I know the Pirdop one.... I  avoid going there, lol.

There is also a quarry in Italy (I forget where) but you drive across a bridge into a mountain village, then can choose to go left or right, either way, you enter a tunnel and come out the other end to a very unique quarry.  It's cool, but I find it very difficult to navigate.  I think it is between La Spezia and Pisa, but I don't remember what the game labels it as.

Same with a very very old original base in Germany to another quarry.  I have to look at a map to even talk about this one, because it's been so long since I've been there.  I just remember a dirt road alongside a cliff to a quarry.  I don't know if the new roads in Germany changed it.

Deep Grove in Bellingham (even though it isn't really in Bellingham but more or less deep in the Cascade Mountains) may be the furthest depot to drive to in both ATS and ETS2.  Am I wrong?  I don't recall anything further.

It’s almost 120 miles! Even if there is something longer, but there is no such bumpy road ;D. There is a shorter path, but it’s also pretty difficult. I didn’t make it for the first time, but... it’s mostly because I was driving too fast ;D.

Not as much as Deepgrove, but Mon Coeur also has more than 100 miles away from freshly revamped Sacramento.
Also, there are several bases located in about 60 miles away, like Bushnell of Sterling, NAMIQ of CS or Gallon of Fresno.

UPD:
This time with more mountains and less free cameras. Also, new teaser for Western Star today, as informative as previous one ;D.

Lots of good trucking news today!  Western Star's new 57X is looking pretty nice and I am going to watch the Montana gameplay tonight. :)

Those Fresno delivery spots are so funny because they seem SO far away from Fresno.  In reality they would be small agricultural town.  Luckily it's a good quality road so you can speed if you need to get their fast. ;)  I've never seen a cop on that road yet.  [excited]
