The name
Papër already says the village will be interesting

.

I think the purchase of this DLC is already justified by this Albanian service station, and it’s only the beginning!
So, I’m on a halfway of my route, and the countries become more interesting one by one. Macedonia (the Northern one since 2019

) has pretty modest mountains, but still can be a cure from Mountain Scenery Deficit Disorder caused by recent (and upcoming)
ATS DLC’s

. Some of settlements I have already seen look very Italian, the other ones are closer to Romanian or Bulgarian type.

The Albanian bunkers were found very quickly

. Not all of them are hidden in the mountains, the backyards of roadside buildings can also have these reminders of people who were fans of
Starcraft 25 years before this game was released

. The mountains are a bit higher, plus every highway has double guardrails, and big ones — even triple guardrails... with three rows of glowing markers. If Papër garage isn’t crazy enough there are some weird location with old oil barrels surrounded by some swamp with ducks (animated!) — I hope there were no leaks from these barrels in the past.

Tirana was the first big city on my way, there are several cute streets with cute buildings, and the cool roof on several filling stations. The border with Montenegro has another interesting location: neither Gibraltar nor Hollywood, but with a half of bridge — and it looks like the second half is not going to be returned soon.

That truck dealer got my attention on one of developer’s stream, and, after visiting it, I understand that it has a nice scenery around because all of Montenegro seems to be made from the greeting card pictures

.

Two borders before Croatia, and I see the things are going serious — the Adriatic sea becomes closer, and the map has the photo trophy signs ahead.

I think the coolest scenery is just ahead, and I’m happy I came to this part of the map not at night, as was in Colorado, Spain, Texas and Austria

. Anyway, I have some work to do, so I will continue the exploring at Friday night.
