OK, so, the collaboration with the RL trucking companies is going in new direction — by adding the company liveries for the trailers, but not as official addon, but as a mod. As I remember, there already are a lot of mods with real life companies, but this one is advertised by the developers, and, I believe, there will be more, as long they will have more-or-less acceptable level of quality.

This is weird.  I'm surprised it wasn't one of the brands already sponsoring billboards.

Huh.  I think this is a step closer to getting REAL brands and companies within the game fully.  They are just testing community reaction.

It is weird that US trucking companies seem to be more on board with ATS than the established ETS franchise.  Why aren't Euro companies jumping on board as at fast a rate?

Nice green (and flat ;D) cities, I like how detailed they are.
Also, have you heard that the oldest trucks (like the first MAN TGX) will be available only on the used truck market after 1.49 release? Another step towards realism, if remember that several ETS trucks were discontinued almost ten years ago ;D.

The details are great.  The color and lighting seems to be extra good.  I wonder if this is the new skyboxes?  Usually city posts mean we are getting near the end of development.

The first photo shows KANSAS CITY, which is actually in the state of Missouri.  So I don't think we will get to drive there YET.

Another player? Welcome!

I do like how SCS is showing the people working on them.  I hope they do that for every state in the future and it would be neat if they did it for ETS too.

Welcome to a trucker's life @EvergreenPinewood. So which do you play?

I like that they are doing this!  I hope it becomes a tradition because it puts a face behind the amazing world's we get to drive through and experience.   ^b-

Thanks all! :D I've played since the first ETS game, but then came back when ATS came out.  Since then I have both ATS and ETS2 and all the DLCs (the map ones). ;D

I also used to play the 18 Wheels of Steel: Across America games on my Dad's computer as a kid.  It was one of like three games I played continually. Midtown Madness 2 and NASCAR Racing 2003 were the others.  So as you can see, they were all racing/driving genre.

^ Early 2000s/mid 2000s was a good era for computer gaming! Nice game choices.
