And now, the gameplay video from Kansas!
Green and flat ;D, but not as green as the northern states.

I watched it and very detailed.  I'm greatly impressed.  Suprisingly a lot of elevation changes in roads and landscape and lots of interchanges.  Looks good!

I just realized, I have spent almost NO TIME in Oklahoma.  I guess it didn't interest me much.  I've spent tons of time in WB and a ton in Texas....

I haven't spent as much time there as I have wanted.  I figure though when we get Kansas, that area will be much bigger to drive in and I will explore it more as well as eastern Colorado.

I think the impressive landscape still attracts more attention than high level of details. Scandinavia was a big hit despite being pretty old, and the latest ETS2 DLC has both scenery and detail level, so it easily gets more attention than Oklahoma.
As today’s blog post says, the feedback for the West Balkans is very, very positive ;D.

WB was no doubt the best DLC the ETS2 team has ever done.  There is no doubt in my mind about that.  It had the highest level of detail they've ever done too as well as SCS's first overall use of REQUIRED blurred objects in the background.  Yep, you cannot turn it off.  I know they did this for people's PC's and limitations to their engine to make areas seem huge.

I was thinking Kansas DLC will be released in the middle of December, but it will happen at the last day of November!
The map apparently allows to open most of cities very fast ;D.

We already have two Carlsbads, and this map expansion contains second Salina and Wichita, and second... Pittsburg .

There are actually way more cities in this Kansas map then I expected.  At least there will be more drivable space now and allow people to explore Oklahoma better as well as Colorado.  Sort of opens up that whole area instead of being limited by end of map.

There is also a Marysville in Kansas and an unmarked Marysville in the Washington DLC north of Everett. ;D  So two MARYSVILLE's as well.

Well, since the states are being made more detailed than 6 years ago, no wonder they are trying to increase number of cities ;D.

I don't know how they are going to do these states. They keep getting smaller from here.
