OK, the game is ready for Kansas DLC — the state is already highlighted on the map and the new skyboxes for nice screenshots are done (we have two times more weather options in photo mode, including fog without a rain). The mountains around SLC are redrawn, which is also a good material for new screenshots.
Also, be prepared for some difficulties in finding the older generation trucks — in my example, I can’t buy the 2009 Volvo VNL and WS 5700 at the new truck dealer, and the used truck market didn’t have that Volvo at that moment (only two 2019 trucks), so, I must wait a couple of days before the market will be refreshed and the older Volvo can appear. Although, the previous Volvo can be considered as totally displaced by the newer model, so it’s not a real problem ;D. If look at ETS (I think it will be updated in two days max), that game have much bigger percentage of old outdated uhm... legacy trucks which are still desired in the community (like DAF 105 or Magnum), so, the used truck market will apparently be more popular there ;D. (BTW, I remember how NFS: Porsche had ’91 911 Turbo 3.3 which was a little easier to handle than ’93 911 Turbo 3.6, but available only in used car market, so I usually tried to find the older car to beat a dedicated tournament)
The keybind modifier is another good addition... especially for people who has the 60%-style keyboard [excited].
Today I'm going to drive the new truck.  Looking forward to it. :)
I wonder, will it be the only regional truck for next years, or there will be more models like MAN TGS or Volvo FM? A big portion of comments say either the 2020 versions of FH and Actros are more welcomed in the game ;D, or... if we already have the smaller cab trucks, it's time to finally introduce the rigid chassis.

According the patch notes, they updated the Wasatch Mountains in the Utah DLC, which visually were horrible.  I haven't seen them yet, but can't wait to see the improvement.

The Kansas DLC is closer and closer, and there are not so much days left to make one remaining post a day ;D. So, today we have an announcement of new Special Transport routes and some photos of turnpike tolls (by the way, one small part of a highway connecting OK and KS was added to Oklahoma yesterday).

First thing I noticed was STARS.  The stars are great to see at night, especially on those lonely desert roads of Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, etc.  They look incredible.

The clouds are not volumetric are they?  Still just skyboxes?

For some reason that tiny image you posted @timmelon  took nearly 3 minutes to fully load, and I have super fast internet.  What on earth is going on with that?

I am loving the new sky.  I do not believe they are using volumetric clouds or we would see them move and change before ur eyes. That would also take a lot of processing power.

At least yours loaded.  It's just a blank space on my screen and when I click it, it leads to a white page trying to load something.

I think the clouds have changed mostly in colors than in the volume.
For me, the first thing I have noticed was the much brighter scenery under the Moon ;D.

That image hosting can be sleepy sometimes ;D.

Oh wow, the moon is super bright now.  Has the game really not had a moon before?  Nor stars?
