If this was posted, I didn't see it.  But it's SUPER USEFUL.

1.59 Tow To Road Update

I never liked how if you got stuck or damaged you HAD to be towed to a repair shop and lost your current delivery.  Now we can be towed to the nearest road! Finally!

Oh, it was their post from Saturday everybody overlooked.
My guess why they didn’t allow it earlier is maybe they thought it makes the gameplay too easy ;D.
Well, the SoftLab’s Hard Truck series was much more arcade — in the second game, you could call 911 at any time and your vehicle recover and repair were always instant (so, no problem to call them while falling into the river and be teleported back), and in the first game (from 1998) you could repair your truck just by pressing Backspace (as long you have enough money for this) at any speed... I hope none of this will be added into *TS . The existing ablilty to just load the saved game in a second before the big crash is more than enough.

"I want to be able to complete ENTIRE DELIVERIES by pressing only the space button, and the delivery is handled instantly." - Someone's comment probably somewhere. ;D

This kind of updates is usually met with very little excitement ;D. Although, it’s good they have one more little license on their count — since 1.59 every Turbo King-branded cooling unit on all types and brands of refrigerator trailers gets the real logos (Carrier still continues to wear the Cooler mask ;D) and some better detailing. Personally, I don’t even remember when I had a reefer in my garage last time (the hired drivers often use them for  cheap dryvan cargoes like the cardboard boxes because the frozen food may be not so ubiquitous in some cities), so it must be a very forgettable update for me... at least it’s more noticeable than JOST coupling devices, always hidden under the attached trailer ::). BTW, if continue the topic about Hard Truck 2, in that game you see a lot of naked fifth wheels because AI-controlled tractors can’t use the trailers properly and just drive without them (carrying all their cargo in a pocket universe, because they still earn the money when you hire them), and all competitive cargo deliveries have only rigid trucks as your rivals. So, when you are going to fight using a proper tractor-and-trailer set, the shorter and faster competitors outrun you very quickly, ram your trailer and make you regret for your choice.

P.S. There are rumors (no official confirmation yet) that SCS have plans to add more Turkey into the game ;D.

I mean I am happy for them, but there isn't a ton of excitement to this.  It LOOKS GREAT though.  I am sure the employees of Thermo King are so excited to see their products in the game and this is a BIG deal to them.  So I happy for them all.

I barely buy the trailer packs unless they are on sale.  I can't imagine this will be a huge seller, but I do like how it looks! :D

We are getting real close to the release of 1.59.  I bet we will see testing in the coming weeks.

There are already two many Springfield's.  Where is the one with the yellow people?

I do hope you mean The Simpsons and not Asian people, my dear.  :-]  According to my sources, somewhere between Portland, Oregon--hometown of creator Matt Groening--and Tacoma, Washington.  One episode claims it's even in northern Kentucky...or southern Missouri.  It could even be in Arkansas or Texas... or New Mexico...or Arizona. Perhaps Texas.  Somewhere with both a desert and a coastline, anyhow.

There is a Springfield, Oregon.  It's next to Eugene, Oregon.  It's in this game as well. :)

I think they mean this bridge, although the model on the screenshot looks less detailed.

I've not cared for driving into Turkey much in this game as there is so little, but now we might have more reason to explore deeper.  BOOM.

Did you guys also notice the increased traffic on the bridge?

Since it’s a new historical bridge, everyone wants to try it ;D.

I think a neat trick SCS could use is for those rare distant locations we can see in game, so "increased low render" traffic would be a nice thing.  Rockstar pulled this off in GTA V way back in the olden days of 2013. ;D
