A part of me thinks the map will just be from roughly the northern tip of Belarus's border, east to Moscow, and not including anything south that connects with Ukraine.  But this would also make a weird portion of the map with limited connects.  So I think they will connect to Ukraine, which may be a future map DLC someday.

Nice maps, but I think it will be much smaller than your proposals you showed.  It will be more like the one you explained, probably similar to this.

As I wrote in this post, there were some researches about where the SCS’s activity was spotted, and the map is probably going to be in the borders close to @MasterXtreme’s predictions:

I love the enthusiasm shown there, Silverwing, but MasterXtreme and Timmelon are correct.  It will be much smaller than you think and a mostly inland DLC with very little water (from an ocean).  So it might not be the most exciting for some, like how we had some bemoaning "Going East" for lacking water.

I for one look forward to the different things we could see.  I know SCS always wants to make places look extra good and clean, but honestly, show us some of that Soviet wear like they showed us some southern Italian rust.  It's okay if the roads aren't the best in areas and some buildings look dirty and old.  It ads to the immersion and makes a place different then the squeaky clean look-a-like buildings everywhere else.

t is doubtful they will go too far north (but I wish they would, imagine going to the dirty and industrial port cities of Murmansk or Arkhangelsk.

I have long wanted them to go further north in the Scandinavian countries too!  I hope they go all the way to the top someday.   [excited]

I'm not sure as to why it is raining in your game though.  If you have any mods, it might be messing with the game.

No mods in my game and it still does it.  I will have to learn to live with eternal rain and fog in my ETS2 I guess.   [sadpat]

Of course the map would be much smaller for ETS2, because they put all their effort in ATS now.

That simply isn't true.

Yeah, the company puts no effort into it.  You are right.  They just released arguably one of the best ETS2 DLC's and recently gave us more free islands for Italy, plus the Italian bridge event and new trucks.  Yeah, they sure don't care.   ::)

@MasterXtreme and @timmelon

I think you guys are right.  I was just getting WAY too excited. ;D  The good thing is, if it is smaller, they will hopefully have more expansions in the future. :D

If Raine bought the game, I probably should too.  ;D  When it's on sale, could someone notify me?  I don't check Steam ever... so I would appreciate it if someone let me know. ;D

In my real life job I work with truckers all day.  I keep deliveries moving in my office.  If things go wrong... it's my fault!!! :D

I'm pretty sure we will all @Soda when the game is on sale. :)  It goes on sale regularly for $4.99USD.  The map expansions, that would be a bit harder.

Thank you.  It would be fun to have the whole map, but I'm not spoiled and don't need it all to begin with.  I have to make sure I'd actually enjoy the game and not wreck every two seconds.

I'm making good progress everyone.  Just a quick update.  I did a new longest drive; 380 miles!
