Actually, it’s a smart move, since the hired drivers can take away some money if they don’t find the job and need to return back empty. Also, sometimes they can make a negative numbers of income — some time ago one of my drivers lost a lot of money:

A very large and confusing World of Trucks Event. 

Steering Wheel Roll-Out Event

I haven't read it all yet, and still don't understand it. Doesn't look like our usual type of event with rewards. 

Rules

Using External Contracts with a World of Trucks-connected profile in Euro Truck Simulator 2, American Truck Simulator, or both, your Personal goal is to complete at least 5 deliveries of T248 Steering Wheels cargo.

All jobs for the event need to be at least 248 km / 154 miles in length, or more.

You can check if your recent deliveries met these conditions using your Log Book in your World of Trucks profile.

Rewards:

Personal goal: Players that complete 5 or more deliveries of the T248 Steering Wheels cargo will gain a personal World of Trucks Achievement, a T248 Pedals dashboard toy as a Steam inventory item for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator.

This will be my very first event!  I can't wait to partake and see what it is like.  I will start tonight.

Hard Truck...

I didn't know it could still be bought.  I never played it.  I added it to my wishlist so if it goes in sale, I might just pick it up.  I hope it can run on modern hardware like Windows 10.

Well, the site info says it’s true, although the picture proportions will be screwed — only four resolution options are available.

I bet creating of this DLC was inspired by the upcoming release of the remastered editions of you-know-what — the palm trees in the circle leave me no doubt.

LOL!  Okay, this is a paint pack I will actually buy... but maybe never use!! I can't wait for the Remastered GTA Trilogy btw.

It is pretty certain that SCS (or someone who was bored there) got inspired by Vice City to make this.  This response by SCS to a comment certainly cements it.

No, that two schemes they mention are which can be available for all trucks — the one I have shown before and this one:

Both of them are recolorable and also you can apply them on a trailer.
Twenty another schemes are available only for trucks — one or two unique for a specific model. And more than a half of them are recolourable.

^ Thank you for explaining it.  After I posted what I said, I re-read the post and made sense of it.   Lol!  I wish they would just offer a massive pack with tons of re-colorable paint schemes.  I sadly never use the ones they pre-make, yet I buy them.  I think I have almost every country paint pack for ETS2 as well.   I bought those when they went on sale for .50 US cents.

Thank you.  I bought both of them as well as the map expansions (most) since it seems like that is the most important things to have.
