Merry Christmas From SCS

Dear #BestCommunityEver,

The most wonderful time of the year is knocking on the door, and most of the SCS team is taking a bit of time off to enjoy beautiful moments with their families and to recharge their batteries. The pace of our social media posts and blog updates will be slowed down a little, but don't worry, because we still have a few more blog posts, screenshots, and social media videos ready to be released for you till the end of this year. And then we’ll return to our usual form in January with a lot more exciting news.

In the meantime, you can keep working on your progress towards achieving all the goals in our new special Christmas Event, which offers some incredible rewards and fun!

Even though we all would love to see the world around us back in better times, it’s impossible to deny that the global pandemic is still causing problems. We encourage all of you to stay safe and care for everyone around you responsibly. Only with mutual care will all of you be able to find a way to create a good mood in your families, and hopefully, you will spend these upcoming festive days with health and joy.

So, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate, coffee, or tea, put on some warm and cozy clothes, grab some nice holiday sweets, and just lean back and relax while watching some classic movies. Or, grab a steering wheel, a game controller, or your trusty keyboard and mouse, and play the games you love, including American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Additionally, if you missed our Special Christmas live stream, you may want to watch the recording as well. Maybe it will put a smile on your face and put you in the right mood!

We all have different ways in which we enjoy spending our holidays, therefore, no matter which activity you choose, we sincerely hope you will have a wonderful time.

Merry Christmas!

So, who will start a new profile for a new year as I usually do in both games? ;D

I will not.  I am loving expanding my business.  I finally hit 10 million in money!!! So I can really start expanding and getting new equipment.

I am curious.  Do you keep track of how big your trucking company got before you start over Timmelon?  Like how many garages, trucks, employees, etc?

No ;D.
Last two years it was about 60 employers and 60th level after roughly 180 hours.

Oh wow, that is a lot.

Let's see.  I am in my game right now.  So lets see.  I have 34 drivers, 39 trucks, 5 trailers, and 15 garages.  I am at level 69 officially. Nice. ;D

I don't know what level I am or any of my stats off the top of my head.  But that is really good for a year, Tim!!

Nice stats there, Rainy.  Seems like you have some extra trucks to play around with. ;D

When there were no buyable trailers and I had a strategy of buying cheaper trucks for hired drivers, I could reach 100 (I remember it at the year when Italy DLC came out), for the same number of hours played.

I when I hire my first drivers, they are getting the worst of everything.  I don't care about them. They won't even have a sleeping cabin even if they do cross-country trips. ;D

I'm not huge into buying trailers because I don't like having to drive them everywhere then backing into the spot to pick up my delivery with them.  I owned a few, but then never used them.  My drivers do though.

I buy my employee's the same trucks I by myself.  Nicely appointed, but never overdone.

I buy more trailers than trucks (to make the empty returning back more rare ;D), in this year — seven for every garage.

Wow, that is a lot of trailers.  I have five.

Which you reminded me, I really should buy some more for my employees.  My Phoenix depot loves using them more than any other for some reason.
