Well, I noticed than they usually make more income on my trailers — sometimes 40 or even 50 thousand for one corner-to-corner ride.

I've noticed the game because sort of easy as you get more employee's.  They make so much money for deliveries, you don't ever have to worry about money.

And it’s the main reason for me to starting a new profile again and again ;D.
I don’t really care about covering 100% of roads in the game, so throwing away the old profile gives no pain for me.

I don't play as much as others, so it's taken me years to get where I am now. ;D  If I started over, I'd still be driving for other companies probably. ;D

More dirty concrete and rusty pipes! ;D Also, the metal siding of bright colors and the PO-2 concrete fence are present as well.

P.S. So, my results for a current profile are:
ATS: 177 hours played, 122 in-game days, 152 deliveries, 139 000 miles, Level 64, 89.59% of map discovered, 13 garages, 61 trucks, 84 trailers.
ETS: 174 hours played, 149 in-game days, 184 deliveries, 193 000 km 120 000 miles, Level 61, 79.83% of map discovered, 12 garages, 60 trucks, 84 trailers.

As I said, it’s almost 180 hours for each game, which equals to roughly one hour a day — not so much if compare with some game maniacs. And I’m afraid to think how much all that stuff cost ;D, since there are none of trucks or trailers without fancy wheels, paintjobs etc.

I for some reason found it funny you wrote your distance in km then crossed it out.  I don't know why I laughed at that. ;D  I must say, I love that red truck with the tires.  That is a beautiful truck with only a driver cab space.  You were also very similar on both games with the stats.

I think it's safe to say you got your money's worth no matter how much you've spent on this game series. ;D  I know I have, and I haven't even played nearly as long as you.

Hmm, if I count the amount of money spent on the game, the steering wheel and the Ultrawide monitor (and most of that were bought with discounts, and the wheel wasn’t new ;D), it’s only about 800-850 dollars. Of course, there was another upgrades for computer, but only the wheel and monitor were dedicated to these games. Since I started playing *TS in a second half of 2016 (so, it’s about 64 months passed), the total cost is about 41-44 cents per one hour played. Not a significant value ;D, and, If I played without a special controller and separate monitor, it would be 11-12 cents.
If I count the hours and the cost of the latest game I tried (four full walkthroughs, and I need to try another time since the big update came out less than a month ago), I will get the same 40 cents for one hour.
So, if you plan to play for many hours, the cost of the game is not very important ;D.

UPD:
The number of their developers is still growing! And all of newcomers are busy with updating the existing part of the map — IIRC, they have already told us about this in one of the earlier posts. So, the level of details must get even better!

The UI is good if you use a game controller before.  Much quicker to move between buttons.  Before you had to press and the pointer arrow would slowly go to the button you wanted.

I also think that might be a step for them to bring it to console someday...

WOW!! Everything MasterXtreme teased last week is coming true.  Lol!  I'm no expert, but I think the city in the first photo is Sacramento!! I swear by the time this is all over, Redding will have had more redesigns and updates than any city in all of ATS and ETS2 combined, lol!  Maybe now it will actually be like the real city.  Eureka and Ukiah are also nothing like their real life counterparts. Truckee was just a joke. In real life it is a popular truck stop destination as well, but in the game it's like... a gas station, with a random fish market?  Why?  Lol. So I am sure with their added effort of making everything more life-like, these updates will do just that. Plus all the new trees and environmental improvements will make driving that coastal region south of Eureka so much more varied and nice.  As for the new cit they are adding, I am willing to be it is Napa, California.  In the center of Napa Valley.

Honestly seeing these photos, it makes what is currently in the game completely unrecognizable... IN A GOOD WAY! :D

Wow!  SCS really had to shock us all.  After going months without officially talking about the rework, other than their most recent stream, it's nice to see a lot of it has been OFFICIALLY written down! :D  That is so awesome.

How come the ATS rebuilds are better than the ETS2 ones?     :'(

They are always complete rebuilds and so much better.  I am appreciate of the ETS2 rebuild of Germany, but let's be honest... the cities are still pretty poor and smell of their old designs.  In ATS, they aren't afraid to tear down and start all over.  As an original supporter of ETS2 and ETS, it's upsetting to see ATS get all the hype and attention.

The new photos from Russia and the California rework look awesome!  I love reading their plans about the rework and I am thankful they went more in-depth with that blog post!  What an awesome group of people at that company!

The near to last photo with the church on the blog post shows a cityscape in the background.  That might be Oakland.

Here are some more comparisons.

If anyone can do similar stuff with the Russia update photos, that would be cool too.

There was also one more photo not posted in the blog post.  Instead they had it on the SCS Instagram.

It is of the new downtown Redding.

^ Thank you for going through the photos and figuring those out!!  Redding will have gone through so many changes in it's lifespan, lol.

Oh sweet!  Thank you for the comparison there @Captain Ridiculous!!! Nice to get some idea of more of these locations.  I am so excited for what SCS is doing.  I am more excited about this rebuild of California that possibly some other DLCs.  This means newcomers to the game will have an AWESOME start to the game world. They will see the attention to detail and hopefully buy more DLCs.
