I see they just started replacing 00 by X: in addition to 49X, 4700 (it still exists on their site, the same with 4900) is being replaced by 47X , and the anounced one is very likely to be named 57X.
I wonder how the new truck will look inside: since 49X and 47X have the same dashboard, is it possible to give it to 57X, or the new truck will receive iPad-like digital display? (I see even Peterbilt 389 and Kenworth W990 have it since 2022)

Oh this is awesome news!  I'm so glad there will be another WS truck!  I love the 49X.  I know this new truck is virtually a resigned Cascadia, but the Cascadia is a good freeway truck!  The 49X is a good off-road truck! Perfect!

I am going to guess that new 57X will have a similar digital dash to the Cascadia.  Maybe just different colors to match Western Star's company colors (Whatever they are... red?  blue?)  Frieghtliner seems to use blue.  They have a really cool paint scheme on a race car in NASCAR too.  That same scheme can be seen in ATS on a truck. :)

Team Penske, who runs a Freightliner and Cascadia paint scheme on their cars even used a eCascadia to deliver their cars to the race track to race!  It was in the news earlier this year.

^ Awesome paint scheme! It reminds me of the TV show "Automan".

It looks like a black and blue paint scheme, but when you look really closely, it's actually dark blue on both the race car and the truck. It reminds me of Tron!

I am really looking forward to the 57X.  I do think the long number names were "historic" for the brand, nut when almost everyone else uses number names, I'm fine with them moving on from that somewhat.

Automan!!

I'm ready for that truck!!!!!! :D

Also I've seen that NASCAR race car in advertisements.  It's a great looking paint scheme.

Only a mention, with no pictures?  [tappity]

UPD:
I really want more posts like that ;D. Not very interested of yet another port of entry, but I like those new cargoes, especially trees and the circuit breakers!

In the stream (I think) they said ATS will have over 8 new cargos and several new companies (not all the companies we delivery too though).

Of those cargoes in the photos, my favorites visually is the new logging trailer with the straps, the trailer towing the garbage truck, and the dirty cardboard bales.  (aok)

Oh yeah!  There is secretly a lot being added with the Montana DLC.  I cannot credit the ATS team enough.  They've been going overboard for about two years now.  ^-^

Has IVECO abandoned ETS2?  They currently have the oldest truck in the game, despite there being new IVECO trucks irl.  IVECO vans used to also be featured in the game as AI, but SCS changed it to generic front ends a few years ago.

What's going on with IVECO?

It’s hard to believe this company doesn’t want to advertise their products in one more way. Renault is a common guest of SCS already, Michelin’s official site mentions they are in the game ;D, so... maybe some work on Iveco trucks is going on, but it’s for next years...
like states meant to add after Texas. I see someone from Reddit says the totems with fuel prices from NE, KS and OK were found in the game source, and due to these states’ smaller size, we may see the first state bundle in ATS.

And... I can’t imagine how Dakotas can be added separately, so... meet the second state bundle! ;D
^ Wouldn't the Dakota's be the first state bundle people buy?  (Not including the base game)

I have no info, but it seems like IVECO wasn't happy some AI cars were based on IVECO vehicles, and it required SCS to change them.  So it's unknown if IVECO will ever come back with new stuff.  They might be butt-hurt.

Some conversations about IVECO trucks in the SCS forums don't seem too positive about the company wanting to work with SCS, or just their quality as a company anymore.  I really don't know much about them, so I have no thoughts.
