I have noticed as well there are TONS of new locations on the maps, namely unmarked gas stations have been added as gray locations on the map, but you can't get gas in them as a truck.  I am assuming this is for the Road Trip DLC as cars.

I hadn't paid attention, but now that you mention it, you are right.  I always found it silly so many gas stations are in the game and we could only visit some of them.  It looks like they are opening up MANY more. Possibly delivery locations too for Road Trip.

Strugis is the motorcycle center of America.  Tens of thousands ascend on that tiny town for biker meets each year!  It is overall a very rural state.

Amsterdam and Ijmuiden

This looks nothing like the original Amsterdam.  I don't even know if you can take before and after pictures and compare them!   Haha! This is awesome.

That is the best example of a complete transformation I've seen for the BeneLux rework! Very well done. WOW!!

East St. Louis

East St. Louis is one of the worst and most dangerous cities in all of America!!! It's full of abandonment and decay! It's in the game!

Well that was a choice of a city to include.  Woof. 

East St. Louis is a sad, desperate city that fell into hardship when industry left, the middle class left, and it only left the poverty stricken.  Today its downtown is abandoned and falling into decay.  The city can't afford to pay for electricity for street lights, and corruption is rampant across the government of the city.  It's a fascinating place to learn about and I am curious JUST HOW BAD, SCS will make it look.  That one shot with the tram shows us some abandoned and decaying buildings in the distance.  I hope we get to see a lot of it.  The overgrown grass in these photos as accurate as well.  The city can't afford to keep it looking good.

The city peaked at 82,000 people but today is around 17,000 people.  It has seen a huge loss in people. 94% of the population is black. One of the highest concentrations in North America.

They could make money renting themselves out to film, animation, and comic book companies as exterior stock shots/location shoots.  It's just as filthy, broken-down and poverty-stricken as Detroit, but with cheaper royalties. Simply dress up a few warehouses or an old meat-packing plant and call it the bad guy's hideout in the next RoboCop series reboot.

It would make a good location for post-apocolytic movies.  So would Cairo, Illinois.

It's funny, we might have two of the worst cities in America in terms of decay in the Illinois DLC.
