Since it appears we are showing off trucks, let me show you the best in German engineering. A real truck that puts your silly American trucks to shame. Clean, well engineered, efficient.
Looks great! Especially the photo from the front

.
There were a lot of trucks added to ETS after 2015, but Actros still is my primary eye candy.
American ones have their pros and cons, they just are more fitting to that country’s trucking style. Higher speeds, lower importance of ecological requirements (but there are really clean states like California, where is no place for old engines), much less over-engineered parts

(sadly, new trucks have them a lot), BIG SLEEPERS!!!, no need to turn over your cab, etc., etc...
As for photos, I just don’t very like different wheels on trucks and trailers in Europe

, this gives them a bit less stylishness.
That is a pretty red. Is that metallic? It looks so shiny.
Yes. Since the new lighting engine was made, the solid non-metallic colors can look a bit pale under the sun, so now most of my vehicles are metallic.
But... what if I haven't found all the truck manufacturer dealers? Does that just mean I have to go still find them? Or do they eventually unlock for me to buy them?
The only self-unlocking dealer is the closest to your starting city dealer of the manufacturer you have chosen while creating a profile

. But it’s not so big problem — try to find dealers in every city you visit (this makes you explore the map

) and you will have several of them unlocked at the moment of buying. You don’t need to drive to already discovered dealer, you will be
automatically transfered there if you decide to visit it for getting a truck, and later, with at least three trucks in property, you will be allowed to buy them online anytime you want (same with garages) from any dealer you have discovered. Also, the fast travel system introduced in the current version makes everything easier — buy a truck, teleport to the city when you take a high-profitable order (from the city where currently you can take only cardboard boxes or wood chip

), and get to driving! For example, that my red LT* was captured in the Port Angeles, where it has been fasttraveled for taking the profitable order with 150 USD per mile.
*(those people in the bottom-left corner are probably discussing how to fit it into the ferry
. Also, my truck has met its non-metallic-painted brother during the delivery)
UPD:Pretty impressive how quickly that number can be reached, so, there are tons of people who likes to participate in such events.
