I am more excited for Montana DLC than Texas...

Montana looks awesome!  I'm much excited for Montana compared to Texas as well. :D After both of these states though, states will keep getting smaller and smaller in size in each DLC.  I wonder how they will handle that.

I am willing to make a bold prediction.  They will combine North and South Dakota and make it one big DLC.  Probably called the Dakota's or something.  They will certainly have to start doing this as states get smaller, especially the northeast.

I think we can clearly see the pattern:
ETS: several full countries, part of the country (the upcoming DLC ;D) or the combination (the 2018-2019 DLCs) — the creative name for expansion pack.
ATS: one full state — just it’s name and nothing more.

So, we would probably see how the ETS’s pattern will be applied to the ATS — of course, if the developers will not go crazy and release every state as separate DLC, making the list as long as ETS’s paintjob packs list :-0.

I think we will see that when it comes to smaller states.  I don't know if the Dakota's will get that treatment.  They are still fairly large, albeit pretty empty.  You have a bunch of states from Oklahoma, Nebraska, to Iowa which are pretty boring and flat.  While still fairly decent sized, there isn't a whole lot to see.  But I can see small states like Connecticut and Rhode Island being combined into a DLC.  Or Vermont and New Hampshire.

They could really do each state separate as DLCs with a few exceptions.

I could see Maryland being combined with Delaware.  They could even add Wester Virginia and Virginia into that to make it more of a square shaped DLC of W. Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware.

I could see New York and New Jersey being combined.

To make the Northeast work, I saw they should combine Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhod Island together. All those combined wouldn't even equal the size of a state like Indiana.  Maine would still be it's own DLC.

Then will they move into Canada? Start east and move west?

Is Mexico a consideration?

So those are really the only one's I could see being combined.  Not a whole lot.  But some of those states are small.

I think those are all pretty fair assessments.  I wonder if any states will be single towns like there are entire countries in ETS2 that are just a single city. ;D

I'm still upset Liechtenstein and Andorra don't exist in ETS2.  Does that mean Rhode Island won't exist?  :O

So I made a little true-to-size chart for you all. Rhode Island is the red one on the far right.  Luxembourg is the lime green one on the left.  Andorra is the blue and Liechtenstein is the tiny one on the bottom.

And here they all are inside Rhode Island.

So the ATS team should be able to give Rhode Island maybe two marked locations.

SCS is like, "if we modeled this T-44 tank, we're going to use it everywhere!!"  It will probably be a NPC Civilian car before long. ;)

The monuments certainly look Soviet. :D  I'm pretty excited to explore these towns and cities.

What are the states (ATS) and countries (ETS2) you visit the least in your play throughs.  It doesn't mean they are your least favorite, you just happen to visit them the least.

The state I visit the least is probably Colorado right now.  I've oddly spent way more time in New Mexico and Wyoming below and above it.

Countries I visit the least would probably still be the oldest parts of ETS2.  Germany (despite the upgrade), smaller places like Brussels, Luxembourg, and for some reason France.  I never go to France. lol. Probably because of the tolls.
